Our products are our name: rugged circuits. Other electronic development boards are easy to destroy with just a simple slip of the hand or a careless reversal of polarity. We’ve designed our products to last and to tolerate the mistakes often made by students, hobbyists, and even seasoned engineers (who may not have had enough sleep).

Think about any microcontroller development boards you already use. What would happen if you...

• hooked up a DC power supply at -9V instead of 9V?
• turned on a DC power supply, forgetting that you last had it set at 30V?
• connected a 12V motor power supply to a microcontroller I/O pin?
• placed the energized board on top of a screwdriver or other metal tool?

Chances are good you’d end up having to buy a new board. But our GATOR board tolerates all of the above mistakes and just keeps on working.

READY-TO-RUN

We’ve given you a headstart with common microcontroller applications. How many times have you needed to “just turn this thing on”? Setting microcontroller pins high and low is really easy with our IO application, and so is getting a stepper motor to turn with our STEPPER application. More ready-to-run applications are on the way, with GUI interface of course, as part of our free Windows software.

Don’t forget about our convenient screw-less terminals that let you hook up your project really quickly. Forget about hunting for those tiny screwdrivers for screw terminals, or for just the right connector that mates to your headers. Just plug regular wire into our terminals and go...you’re spending your time doing the fun stuff rather than wasting time setting up.

INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT

We’ve made running your own microcontroller applications as easy as possible. Just specify your HEX file and press the Install button in our Windows GUI software. No hardware programmers, no external power supply, no ISP connectors, no messing with fuses, and no chance of “bricking” your board.

AFFORDABLE

Our GATOR board is designed to easily fit into the budget of students and hobbyists, and since it is electrically and mechanically rugged, you only need to “buy it once”. We also don’t wear you down with license or upgrade fees on our interface software. It is always free!
