8-pin Stacking Header

8-pin 0.1" stacking header used in several of our Arduino shields. This is a name-brand high-quality component that makes a solid connection to another shield or an Arduino underneath.
The Rugged Stacking Header looks the same as and has the same dimensions as the cheaper headers used on most Arduino shields:
The difference is in the pins themselves:
The Rugged Stacking Header uses 0.025" square pins while cheaper headers use flatter stamped contacts. The bottom line is that the Rugged Stacking Header makes a firm connection with no "play".
